I’m very excited to announce a new phase in the development of Learn[ed]Leadership. Through many conversations with school leaders around the world as well as ideas sparked from readings by Tony Wagner, Michael Fullen, and others. I’d like to humbly introduce Entrepreneurial Learning, a multi-level and multiple disciplinary project-based approach to learning. Although still a little rough around the edges, it’s my hope that the concepts of Entrepreneurial Learning can help schools partner with their local communities to develop realistic learning opportunities that empowers students to choose their learning objectives and spark the innovative learner so many of us are talking about.
A vital part of the Entrepreneurial Learning curriculum is its connection with the website entrepreneuiral-learning.com, which should be operational within the next few months. This website will serve as a base for schools and communities who use project-based learning to share stories, gather resources and sharpen the effectiveness of the program.
Please click here to connect to the new Entrepreneurial Learning section and to learn more about the different phases of the project.
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your energetic work to create this website and make available to all these great opportunities to engage in the exchange of leadership information and learning. I am interested to know how your are taking on the formulation of the Entrepreneurial Learning section of the site and its implementation to the academic community? Is this an internal pursuit, or are you soliciting outside assistance to help you to promote this endeavor?
Thanks,
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
I hope all is well. To answer your questions about Entrepreneurial Learning, it is very much a work in progress and I’m always open to suggestions. My hope is that in the next few months I’ll launch a connected website for users around the world who as they start experimenting with an ELI can post their results, feedback, suggestions, tips, etc. However, in the meantime you’re more then welcome to send me some suggestions. Entrepreneurial Learning is by no means my intellectual capital, but is designed to give a framework for learning that we can all tweak and improve.
Andrew
